# Week 15: recall and the long line

A name that means come, a long line, and a lot of paying.

Week 15. A name that means come, a long line, and a lot of paying.

## Pay for the look

Say the recall word once, and pay the instant the puppy turns. Never call to end fun.

> **Not off leash yet.** A puppy that comes every time at fifteen weeks will stop at six months. Keep the line on through adolescence.

## The long line

A fifteen or thirty foot line in a field lets the puppy feel free while you keep control.

### Hide and seek

Duck behind a tree and call. Finding you should be the best part of the walk.
