## Why puppies bite

Teeth are how they explore and play. Pain tolerance in littermates taught them to be gentle. Now you are the littermate.

> **The witching hour.** Biting is worst in the early evening. That is overtiredness. Crate and a chew.

## Ending the game

Teeth on skin, the game stops. Stand up, turn away, count to five. Come back and offer a toy.

### Chews

A frozen stuffed toy in the evening when the biting peaks.
